OnePlus has launched theer first smartphone and described as the 2014 Flagship Killer, the OnePlus One smartphone. The One has impressive specs that is competitive with the high-end Android smartphone and it is powered by CyanogenMod. Here we'll show the OnePlus One specs and release date.

Pricing on the two storage sizes is looking quite competitive. The white 16GB version is going for $299/€269 and the 64GB black model will be $349/€299. That's cheaper than the Nexus 5 at both price points, and double the storage at the top. And yes, there's no 32GB tier and no microSD card slot. The non-removable battery also lacks wireless charging, and OnePlus says there won't be a way to add it. So, you're stuck with USB 2.0 charging.

There are unique range of exchangeable back covers that can be easily swap out. Called the StyleSwap covers, it has different textures and materials including kevlar, bamboo and denim on top of standard silk and sandstone.

The mobile connectivity should support most GSM/LTE networks including T-Mobile and AT&T in the US, but no CDMA 3G or Verizon/Sprint LTE.

General availability will be in mid-May in Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Taiwan, United Kingdom, and the United States.
